Morokulien
An Official, Let's Pretend Enclave

Morokulien straddles the Swedish-Norwegian border, east of Stockholm.  It is jointly administered by the two countries, although the border between them passes right through the middle of Morokulien.  As may be seen from an envelope pictured here and a 1990 philatelic article from Linns Stamp News, both countries' stamps are valid, singly or in combination with one another, to pay the necessary postage rate.  Both nations have assigned official postal codes to the same location.  Now, in 2002, it seems Morokulien has been given over to amateur radio enthusiasts from the two countries.  It appears that both Norwegian and Swedish radio call signs are in use.
